Pharmaceutical Packing Line
The project was the extensive repair, levelling and installation of a decorative epoxy floor in an existing facility to upgrade to a pharmaceutical packing line.
What Did the Customer Want to Achieve from these Major Works?
- Repair and re-levelling of an old worn and cracked concrete slab. Raise slab level by 55mm in places.
- Installation of an aesthetically pleasing, highly decorative floor which would withstand pallet movers and be easy to clean and maintain.
Stonhard Single Source Solution
- Mechanically prepare existing slab to remove existing coating and loose areas. Break out cracks and reform joints.
- Treat all cracks and day joints with Stonproof CT5 fibreglass reinforced crack bandage.
- Repair and re-level floor with Stonset TG5.
- Overlay floor with Stonblend GSI 6mm decorative epoxy mortar system.
